My Baby Boy
Hey baby boy
You bring me joy
Every time I look at you
All the little things you do
I'm so glad God gave me you
I wake every morning just to look in your eyes
Every single morning I get a different surprise
I pray everyday that God blesses us both
But I pray even more that God blesses you most.

Congrats to mom and dad on their new blessing!
Here are some of the previews that I have been meaning to post last week.
Wow these two children are beautiful! I got to take my nephew's, Jaythan, six month old photos. He is such a cutie and a really great baby. My favorite thing is his smiles. It happen to all work out that Jaythan’s cousin, Hannah, was in town. I got to take Hannah’s one year old photos. I loved her in all the cute outfits her mommy picked out. Tilda, Hannah’s rabbit, came everywhere with us. She loves her rabbit.
We all see the flowing white shirts and khakis on the beach. The Navy polo’s shirts families choose to wear and yet more khakis all around. We've all seen those photos--heck, most of us have been in those photos. But did you know that coordinated but not “uniform" looks for families create a much more pleasing photograph? Moreover, it is not nearly as difficult as you think it is! The cardinal rule of family dressing for portraits is simple: choose items for the entire family as if you were creating one outfit. As if all of your choices were somehow on one person. Would the results be pleasing, color wise? A handy trick for those who are hesitant to break away from the monochrome madness is to choose one patterned item (for example a print dress for your daughter) and then select the rest of the family’s clothing from colors with in the pattern.
siblings.... Wardrobe choices for sibling shots, like those for family images should be complementary but far from “a matching uniform." While many parents have the urge to put their boys or girls in the exact same outfit, mixing it up a bit--- while creating a pleasing overall combination--- creates a considerably more interesting color palette and image.
families..... I'm planning a mini outdoor session very soon. I will get back with you on the upcoming dates, and you may book a session with time slots available.
A wildly-patterned pair of cargo pants and a hipster tee. Or perhaps her funky hot pink tutu and cowboy boots. His “superhero" cape or cute oneies tie. Individual shots give your child a chance to show his or her personality through fashion like no other. Without the concern of clashing or competing pattern that exists in a family shot. The possibilities are limitless! So break out your daughters or sons beloved rain boots and let’s capture something bold, memorable, and no holds- barred fun!
Spring is here and in full bloom. This also means prom season for many juniors and seniors. Saturday I had
the great pleasure of snapping this adorable couple from Grandview High School for prom. Prom is a memory
from high school you never forget and here are some pictures to cherish those memories.

Baby Ruthie was born last Friday. She was a baby that liked to wiggle and stretch. It was cute to watch her hide her eyes for the camera with her hands. She loved falling asleep in her mother’s arms and was soothed by her mother’s gentle voice. She was in one word… beautiful. Amy – it was great meeting you and your mom yesterday.
I photograph newborns before the age of 10 days old typically. It is almost impossible to get an image like this at two weeks old – the babies are already too big and no longer as flexible.
February 23rd I have the great privileged to take my nephew Jaythan's newborn photos. He so cute and did such a great job on posing. I had such a great time with him. I wanted to share a few of my favorites.
